Chapter three talks about the separation of intellectual life from the world of social betterment and political results, and while she makes some salient points, I do believe she's starting to lose me on her initial proposition some, I can't decide though ultimately. I think this book is going to take some further digestion after finishing my first real read-through.

From everything I know already, this work has real potential for being my favorite book of all time. We'll see if the sentiment holds by the time I finish the book.
