So far, Hawai'i is lovely, and the FMC has referred to her fake boyfriend as Mr. Phony Baloney, Fake Jake, Lying von Liarson, Fakey McFaker, Bogus Boy, and more. I'm having a wonderful time.

This is a buddy read. I promise I can read a 208-page book in more than 2 weeks.

The title is because the FMC enjoys photography. Do not judge; let me have my tropical vacation in peace (which I will, because Becky Dean's descriptions/settings are SO good).

My weaknesses are tropical Hawai'i trips, overbearing families, nature, and fake (or maybe not?) boyfriends. This book has all of them.

I'm not much of a romance reader, but after finishing Shades of Starlight, I had to get my hands on some other books by this author.

Also, literary scavenger hunt through the English countryside? Yes, please!
