So far this book is interesting, lots of meanderings. A look into the author’s youth and a friend who made a huge impact on his early life. A window into Asia America on the west coast and how Asia America is more than what the author thought were people like himself. I appreciate Hsu’s deep reflection.

Wtf the son is an OPP!!!

Like the book so far! I think I’m not AS into it because it’s pretty slow paced and i’m still trying to figure out what the main story is…

I love the writing in this. It’s easy to read but very imaginative. The theme so far I don’t really care for (almost incelly but not that far ahead) but I kinda get it. He thinks he has a family curse to never find love and he has all these cultural expectations to.

Very interesting and the writing is funny but not over the top

So far, really sad! It’s a very straightforward look into grief.
