Started yesterday, and this is how far I got yesterday

Someone in TikTok recommended this as a like a goodnight story. wtf. Only if you want to cry yourself to sleep. I feel physically ILL. How dare.

Little progress because work was busy and home was sleepy

Yeah the first 10% and final 10% were the best parts

Ok so this isn’t the kind of horror I’d expected (from not reading much description) but I still like it. This one has similarities to Trad Wife + Lessons in Chemistry lol

Big intro omg. Legit mad I had to leave the car for work

It was close a 5 stars. That second epilogue really got me lol

The truth has come out. tbh I didn’t think it would be quite that bad

it's funny how this book is like...the opposite of the last one I read

Ch 41 almost had me cry

Good stuff

Ch 22 was so good that ofc they had to switch the next ch to an absolute IDIOT male pov 🤢 (queue TS’s This Is Why We Can’t Have Nice Things)

Overall it was a lot, and if it wasn’t for the sex stuff I would’ve given it a 5 since it did have a lot of good content

Ok so ch 5 is best

At 4% I was happy with having such a likable main character. At 5% another sexual assault 😖 dang I really thought I was free

Not sure if it was bad enough for a 2 but it was close

omg how is there an hour left

Not great but fine..until the sexual assaults began 🤢 wild this was the book my aunt read on the cruise. v yucky. Reminds me of Beautiful Ugly in a way

Do not recommend reading on vacation but is good

This is hard bc I feel like it’s a high 3 but I’m gonna give it a 4 bc I liked it enough to read more of the series
