1/3 of the way in I went from OK so this is happening to, why is there still so much left in the book?

Progress from yesterday. Saw I didn’t make more progress. Unrelated but I almost cried

Well that sure is the most thoughtful…plan…I’ve ever heard

I’m seeing very high ratings but this character is V stubborn so I’m expecting some insane amounts of character development. Like the Pixar movie UP. So far, his complaining is making me tired

So fun fact it actually got a lot worse than that scene I saw coming. Note to self if for some awful reason I re-read this, skip like 50-60% bc it’s a lot of sex (including an orgy where low key someone could’ve died) but at this point I’m so far into the book I’m not gonna quit now

At 10% I wondered if this book would be too much. Then at 30%. Now here we have arrived around 50% and they’re about to either have a sex scene or a really intense makeout scene, but there’s 4 min left of the chapter so it’s not looking good for me. Sorry future me.

This was one of those funny mixes where a lot of what she described was exactly me, and then the other half was super foreign to me, so it was fun a hear a new perspective. I didn’t know the author before this book but she did mention multiple things about her life I wanna look up now

My eyes were filled with tears before she even mentioned the two people that she was discussing we’re also tearing up. And then I cried in about the same spot within a minute where the book made me cry last time, like physically on my drive to work. So I was in fact, crying in the exact same physical location twice this week.

oops day 1 was 10%, day 2 was like 30% and today is 36%. And to be fair, the part that made me cry also had her crying while reading it soooo

The evil plan wasn’t explained until 99%… and there was still an epilogue. ngl I was rooting for…idk if her demise, but consequences. Also, didn’t love how descriptive and detailed she was with women’s bodies. Totally a me thing. But man it happened constantly

Bummer that it was just a book of all his trauma but when I wasn’t on the verge of tears it was good. I’m glad he’s in a better situation now

Yesterdays progress. Got this within a week of the release 🎉

Had to finish bc it was due (technically 3 min before I actually finished it) I wonder how long it’ll be until book about pandemics don’t make me feel like it’s ’too soon’ beginning was rough and the timelines really were moving around and skipping a ton. Lots of good points. Good story.

oops it’s due in 13 hours and it might be taken from me before I can finish (and there’s multiple people with holds already)
