Might be a high 4 but the POV is just so fascinating

Was it the best book? No. Was it cheesy? Yes. Did parts get a lil too sexual for my liking? Also yes. But it was still good overall and nothing was too offensive to drop it a star. This is maybe more of an upper 4 but I’ll give it the 5 bc it’s cool how the weave the intertwine

Yesterday I was like 30% in and all the stories were short and barely stated connecting

Loved it. Didn’t try to predict a single thing and had a marvelous time up until the end

It got good at the halfway point and I stopped bc I wasn’t expecting the plot to be so good

Ok so each part is a new POV. Interesting. Lots of names in that last one though

Took a second to get into but now I like it

I (successfully ) didn’t even cry until the epilogue written by his wife. Love love, love love love this book. I wish he could’ve written so many more.

I’m really enjoying it. Lots of examples of specific words and phrases, interviews, deep dives into specific cults… interesting stuff

Put this on hold March 2nd for international women’s month haha. It’s not gonna change my life but it’s a good time while I’m listening to it

I laughed, cried, was heartbroken and had hope restored, as well as had some things spoiled since I didn’t make it to the last season (or two?) of Buffy (yet)

Absolutely don’t recommend finishing ch 1 in the car, at work, on or slightly before a menstrual cycle… basically, grab some tissues and curl up in bed, preferably on a weekend. best of luck. Unfortunately I listened to this is the car on the way to work. 2/10 do not recommend
