Not feeling it

at 75%, 80%, 85% and 90% I was like OH NO all for different reasons. Didn’t at all expect that ending but ok. This is like, so close to a 4 star rating but not enough

idr the plot so idk in what of so many ways this will go wrong, but a space mission to Mars with only THREE people??? That doesn’t seem near enough. And they’re not cross trained enough. Also, two men and one woman? noooooooo

It was a good premise but I feel like my interest would flux

First chapter, this is crazy to be reading after just hearing this weekend that kids got AI toys for Christmas (AHHHHHH) 15% uh I don’t think this is the same as the movie ??? 25% oh nooo

This is one of the craziest plot twists and I tried to predict so many possible endings

It has an ISBN and it’s on here so I guess I’m gonna track it lol

This would’ve been an easy five stars if it wasn’t for all the sex. And the killer isn’t even who I assumed it was.

Literally screamed in my car at the end of chapters 45 and 48

Why is THIS of all books the first one to mention a characters attends a Church of Christ 🙃

Very interesting book

Ok at 10% I was like hmm 3 star book so far. At 20% she discussed and described sex with her husband but it wasn’t described so graphically that I was upset. Just annoyed. By like 30-40% I loved it. tbh I forgot how interesting books / shows / etc are about suicidal women 🙃 they’re like, so honest and carefree and not trying to people please anymore. VERY interesting book :) will probably read again

This book is so interesting and I am so excited to see where we go from here

Had a quick spiral. Back to where I was. (This reminds me of when James Acastor was on He Great British Bake Off describing tje food he made “ started, baking it, had a meltdown, bon appétit”

There was an error and my audio got jacked up somehow 🥲 hopefully it’ll all resolve itself but this is so annoying

tbh this is one of the best books of the year

This is kinda for me btw bc it has spoilers: Phenomenal. It’s like that book where this pregnant lady progressively gets more worried the baby inside her is a monster but this one talks about her past as a child growing up and just touches on how THIS pregnancy was the easiest one and felt right but from the SECOND she saw her daughter she knew she was bad. And the character growth 😻 gooood story

It’s giving a house you can build a nest in or whatever vibes

OK, part two is definitely better than part one

👎 one of two main characters is a dying old man, and the other is a woman who hates her husband and was bored so had an affair that broke apart both marriages and the fallout. Didn’t care to have her as a narrator after that
