Seeing James as an adult is quite jarring considering this is 10 years into the future and so much has changed.

Okay at 150 pages I am now confused.
How does Belle not actively know how to use her magic when she works in a bookstore?
Like she could literally pick up a book and start looking at Harry Potter for Christ Sakes considering this is set in London.
Also I agree with Mod the sister witch and think Belle could cause major problems down the line.
Just remove the magic from her and get her to own the book store wow plot

All I have to say is I’m only 60 pages in and extremely intrigued.
The premise of this book has promise in terms of the way that the wizard introduced himself and also how the book store may play a role in the FMCs development.
This will be fun I feel and I am very excited for the next section to come after this so let’s see what’s next.
Also Christopher from the mundane world is a fuck head misogynist prick!

Tripps mum is a manipulative cow I said what I said.

But I do also feel so bad for Tripp because he’s been told all his life his dad is a deadbeat and then he comes back in steals his girl and causes more chaos along the way!

The sirens are a terrifying concept and remind me of how the British people were resilient during The Blitz in WW2.
Also I actually feel that Marisol is connected to the story of the 3 magic type writers and truly I do hope I am correct.
