This definitely doesn't feel like I'm halfway through the book. If that is a bad thing or a good thing, I haven't decided.

This is beyond throwing tomatoes. Dump the whole bushel on this book. So far, this is garbage. The mmc (with the cringiest name to ever exist, that being Ryat) is the flattest character I’ve ever read about. He has one personality trait: being an asshole. That’s it. I stg if I paid $25 for this book just to DNF it, I’m gonna be pissed. I should’ve stuck to damn ebooks.

Ugh, someone get rid of Michael. The arrogance is palpable. Such a negative outlook on everything.

I wanted to reread this before I started Go Set A Watchman and the nostalgia is hitting HARD. Such a great classic
