Finally vampire shit’s actually starting to happen. I didn’t mind the build up at all though because it’s well written and I’ve enjoyed the character interactions, but excited to see what’s next. I was sure Matt was going to get killed when he let Mike sleep over but im glad he’s still alive because he seem like a decent guy. He’s definitely going to die by the end of the book though 100%.

Holy fuck shit is getting real. Annie was kinda unsettling before but now this is a HORROR novel. Like damn 🐭

THIS BOOK GOOOD!! I was already basically hooked from the start but the scene where Paul gets extra Novril and gets away with it was probably the most anxious I felt reading a book. Even when the book’s not suspenseful it’s good- I loved the part where Paul’s writing process was described. Kinda feeling iffy about having to read a bunch of pages from the Misery’s Return book within a book though. We’ll see
