Reading with my seven year old. She loves it and I think it’s quite fun.

I’m having trouble caring.

I am having such a hard time staying interested. Every chapter is so drawn out, I have been skimming like crazy and still might DNF.

She had a perfectly good alibi for when S was killed and didn’t bring it up right away to the police? This is INSANE.

I’m locked in but Susan is driving me bonkers.

I just read Sometimes I Lie so the vibes are a bit similar with some unreliable narration. It’s moving quickly, which is a plus, but overall I’m not wow-ed so far.

I was not planning on reading a trilogy and being so into it but here I am.

I wish I could go around telling everyone they were a kunta after reading this book.

Solid dramatized audiobook!!

I can’t believe I’m still reading this. We finally get Luther and Diem hooking up at 94% and….i could not care less at this point. My eyes were half closed as it was and it was kinda disappointing. But maybe I’ll try that part again lol. The vibe for the last chapter so far is confusion. Everyone is acting sus.

It’s so long, I’m skimming. I wish it was over already even though I like it.

There is so much action. Almost too much action. While I don’t like a ton of sitting around on my fantasy books, Diem and my man Luther need a break. I also really really dislike Diem’s mother. Your girl just busted you out of jail after you abandoned her without a trace. Please do not dare giving her your opinions! And trusting Vance? This woman is an idiot.

While I am absolutely loving this book, I cannot believe it is 1,026 pages long in total. That is insanity! I am listening to the audio partially and it’s a delight and keeps it from being a slog, but omg. Will I ever finish?!
