BAM xo > Recent Status Updates

Umm.. not sure what I've stumbled into, but I am absolutely in love.. time to dive back in o.O

Haven't been able to read for over a month due to illness and then my freaking kobo broke! So I'm behind on all my ARCs. 😢
New kobo, slightly less ill, so now it's time to play catch up and read what I can, starting with this beauty.
So far I'm very intrigued and loving the way the plot is playing out, it's different from most of my fantasy reads, I'd say more of a science-fiction/fantasy blend. LOVE that.

This book is dark & twisty and I love it.
There are so many emotions happening in this story, it's a breathtakingly & scarily realistic portrayal of many sensitive topics. Can't wait to see how it ends. 😰

😍🤩 So far this has captured my heart, I'm loving the the different time periods, revealed through memories, visions and alternate perspectives. It's very well thought out. And Shadow? Possible animal companion? I hope so. I'm excited to find out more. Let's read on.

I don't know what it is about Brian's books, but I love them. This one is even more intense than the last. It's answered so many questions I demanded answers too after the final pages of book one. Still not down with the raw animal munching though 😂 atleast I understand more about the culture in this book 😍

So um, I actually really freaking love this book so far. Polar bears. Fantasy. What else could I ask for? My time is usually divvied up between reading and watching crazy, bad, cheesy animal attack films (Jaws, backcountry, grizzly rage, cocaine bear, unnatural) So when my 2 loves combine in a book, beautiful carnivorous beasts and fantasy stories. I'm absolutely gonna read that to the absolute last word. Ttfn.

I require answers immediately on who leora ends up with 😂 introducing a new potential love interest half way through is not cool man. Especially when there isn't even anything happening with the first.

Too early for me to say..

After what I perceived as an initial slow start, this book is very, very good. The slow build up I initially felt, only added to the depth and excitement of what was to come. I am loving this! Can't wait to see how it unfolds 😍

Love this so far. It's got so many things I demand answers to, I adore the world building and the build up to whatever huge, cataclysmic event is gonna occur in the plot is such a slow burn, I feel like I'm holding my breath on tenterhooks. Someone pass me my inhaler. Ooooft.

Got an advanced copy of this.. and I'm freaking loving it! I almost feel sad for those that aren't currently reading this beautiful story, because I'm unable to put it down for longer than a few mins to post updates 😂 got them Riel feels 😍❤️
