So good! The world you get brought into is so beautiful and love the Scottish ties of this story

OBSESSED. I love how more in depth we get for the characters. I might love this more than book one

This book has been good, but I just feel like there’s been so many “revelations” that require so much talking that we kinda already figured out from the last flesh and fire book. But I guess we needed it from poppy’s pov too. I wanted more action, I feel like we’re going to get that mostly in the last hour.

Literally so excited for this book it’s been such a long time coming in one of my GodTier series. Please please hold up to expectations lol

Think I’m going to have to dnf for now. I may come back to it again at later date just need something more upbeat and more actions!

I like this book but at the same time I’m just not sucked into it like I wanted to be. It’s very storyline based like how a true fantasy or even a sci fi would read there’s a lot of plot not a lot of action so far. And we’re over half way through. I don’t want to dnf but at the same time I’m just not drawn in…

Loving this so far. Thought I wasn’t going to like the new aspects thrown into this but love that there’s still the trial aspect of it!

Currently definitely get handmaids tale vibes but with fantasy and magic and no bible perpetuating everything. Very well written so far.

Literally been looking forward to this book for well over a year now and can’t wait to dive back into this world! Hopefully I remember everything I need to or else imma have to re read the jasad heir 😂

100% did not think this book would make me tear up but here I am tearing up over the kindness shown to Clara‘s friend. Also don’t give up on this book because of the amount of information that is presented right off the bat it seems like a lot, but it’s definitely necessary to completely understand how this magic system works.

FINALLY getting to start book 2. Thank you audible. lol

I’m actually slowly obsessed with this series the combination of multiple different lores about gods and goddesses across all religions is so intriguing. The amount of research that the author had to do to write this so well is astonishing and it’s not too much information that makes the story dry but just the right amount that your enticed and intrigued loving itso far
