Tempted to rage quit after YET ANOTHER character has been introduced, I simply cannot keep up, but it's really good otherwise so I'll tough it out

Ingold gets a bad rep in my program for being overused but man he's cited for good reason. I vibe with his writing style so much

Okay, wait. Was anybody going to tell me Donna Tartt is from Mississippi??? Why is this not discussed??? Am I largely miscalculating her renown??? Shouldn't there be like...an informational sign in her hometown? Shouldn't she do book signings? Appearances? I feel like I'm going crazy. This is genuinely rocking my world
