This is the most insane book with the simplest setup and I am desperate to keep reading

Okay, wait. Was anybody going to tell me Donna Tartt is from Mississippi??? Why is this not discussed??? Am I largely miscalculating her renown??? Shouldn't there be like...an informational sign in her hometown? Shouldn't she do book signings? Appearances? I feel like I'm going crazy. This is genuinely rocking my world

Nervous by the relatively lower rating of this one but fascinated by the southern gothic and biblical allegory I am sure is to come
