Lots of similes I noticed, which makes sense since Sylvia Plath writes poetry— but I find this usage quite enchanting, since I like visualising things in comparative ways — there was one point she described Doreen as a white Macaw, everyone anticipating for her to say something ‘human’, which really made me think of her as someone ethereal. The beginning is rather funny, but i sense darkness creeping in bruh
