So this is the 5th book in the series and it's really good but there's soooo many mysteries still to uncover. I pretty much have all the same questions I had from the 1st book with no answers... it's good but also a little frustrating -.-

Finally, after a run of pretty crappy books, Sudden Response was refreshing. It was a super light and an easy book to read. It wasn't by any means a super captivating plot, but the writing was mature and it was just an easy good book to read.

This book was so fucking torturous. It was just honestly not enjoyable for me .. at all really.

I really hope that there isn't a new love interest for every book .. first Marco/Mark and now Xavier ? Hmmmmm

Great... now Ling isn't a good guy

The best part of this book by far is Twitch.

One minute I think Alejandro is strong and the next I think her an idiot. She's got less then a week with Julias and yet she vows to herself that she'll make him fall in love with her, then after a day when that doesn't work, she gets it in her head that she's gonna replace Ling and be all seductive and confident and shit and take her place. That's just silly and idiotic.

There seems to be emphasis and tension in weird moments of the book. It's random and I don't like it.
I like Ling tho.
Twitch is in it too, but it's annoying cause his shit should be in his own book with Lexi, and I should be reading their story, but instead I'm reading about Alejandra and Julias, who by the way in Raw has only two actual scenes. Dumb.

The book hasn't really progressed smoothly so far. Alejandra and Julias have no foundation, but there seems to be a closeness that's based off absolutely nothing. Their scenarios are weird too, like she steps on a nail and injures herself so they can't leave his safe house until she heals kinda. That's just stupid! His purpose is to pretty much deliver her to her death, not nurse her to health over a crappy injury.

I've waited so long for this book that I had no friggin clue who Julias was by the time I got around to it. I still don't really know why this book is about him, but whatever.

Lucca says darlin' too damn much, it's so friggin annoying! It's driving me crazy and makes it harder to read for some reason, it stops the flow of the sentence. And darlin isn't even a sexy word! It reminds me of what somebodies grandparents would say, or some country bumpkin from a farm!
