Her cousin owns a bookstore not a bakery lol

Tessa is a chef who loves to cook pasta and her husband died in his car after it lit on fire and he crashed into a tree. It was declared an accident at first but now the cops think someone messed with his car. Her cousin is a cop, her other cousin a bakery owner. Her ex is a suspect and a mechanic. The owner and new chef of the pizza shop her husband would frequent are also suspects. She's now working to find info.

Misha retold a story of his childhood where a show he watched had an episode revealing something major on his birthday party. He thought the two male agents were going to say that they loved each other but one agent said he was in love with someone else. Misha said that's the first time he realized Hollywood did not care about a gay storyline.

Okay just starting but the main character misha is a Hollywood writer and his show has 2 gay women who are supposed to like each other. In a meeting, he was told to kill them off for a dramatic effect but he basically said fuck that they're supposed to fall in love. As he's leaving the lot, cartoonist Raymond Nelson was harassing a woman and he confronted him. As he's talking though, a piano falls on Ray from above.

Jack had an epilogue as well and he's in prison wondering what to write to Ruby. In the line for lunch, an inmate was killed and he was told to keep a secret and that's when it clicked for him. His letter to Ruby would simply state, "I know your secret."

The epilogue is from rubys pov and she says the Mason is the actual person who killed Ivy and she covered everything up and made sure to pin it on jack. Millie forgave her for everything and Mason got his spark back through therapy. They moved in next door to Rubys parents, albeit her kidnappers too. Ruby is finally happy and she's living life knowing that she had her revenge on Jack for making her life this way.

Ivy explained the night of her murder and how she wanted to tell Bobbi that she ruined her life following up with telling Ruby she's her sister and her husband is fucking her and plans to leave her. But plans changed when Bobbi hit her with the rock, then Jack stabbed her, leaving her in the ice cold water to die.

Jack was sentenced to ivys murder for 24 years, one year for each stab wound they found on her body. So Ruby was just hallucinating seeing her dead body.

Ruby lured Jack back to the house and once he was there, the police took him away and Millie and Mason saw. Mason broke his mirror and toy box and Millie comforted him and gave him a box of letters she wrote to him when he was missing. Blue said everyone would be better if his kidnapper never returned him 🥺

After bobbi told Ruby everything, she said that she was going to meet up with Ivy and Ivy went crazy on her. She was saying that everything she had to endure was her fault and Bobbi was scared and ended up hitting her with a rock thinking she killed her. Then she had the anonymous tip to the police hence Ruby being questioned. Though Bobbi thinks she killed Ivy, Ruby said it wasn't her.

Rubys mom kidnapped her when she was a baby because her mom was a drunk and left her in the back of the car with the windows up while she was shopping for booze. Then her mom tells her that the woman jacks been having an affair with, Ivy, is her sister. I fuckin called this shit from the beginning.

The police asked Ruby about Ivy and a car that had been parked by the pond behind their house and the car was bought by Jack. Then Lena told Millie the whole story about coach abbott and her. Coach Abbott got arrested on account of 2 sexual assault/exploitation of a minor, meaning there's 2 girls.

Ruby's sweet little Mason has actually been the school bully this whole entire time and the little freak tied up another student and stripped him in the bathroom for all to see. This student was her friend Flynn's child and Flynn never wants to speak to her again. The principal wants Mason to go to disciplinary school since he framed Flynn's child the whole time for bullying.

Sooo a lot has happened. Millie knows about her coach and mom, got suspended cuz of a fight and her poem, and her best friend is pregnant from the coach. Ruby got confronted at the school by the coach's wife. She also was shunned by Millie and Jack, then Jack left to stay at a hotel. She is also still having visions of Ivy. Now the principal called saying there's been an accident involving her son.

Ruby went into detail how she had hallucinations in the past and is worried that's why she's seeing Ivy. Then she explained how she found out and ended up falling out of love with Jack when she knew he was ready to up and leave her any day. She confronted him and he didn't even say a word to her.

Someone knows about Ruby and the soccer coach kissing and the person is blackmailing the coach or he'll expose him and he'll be fired.

Millie is on her pov and she is star of the soccer team but her mom and the new coach were fucking and a picture was leaked so everyone knew. She got in a fight with a girl and got benched for 3 games. She hates Ruby for ruining her life as she says. Her best friend also sat at her enemies table and ignored her on a horrible day of her life.

Jack is the owner of a company that protects leather seats during repairs and he has made bank where his family will never worry. 4 years ago though, he had an affair with a woman the agency sent and his wife, Ruby, knows all about it and that's why she makes his life miserable. There was something sent to the office though that's the girls necklace and a Polaroid saying "I know your secret".

Ruby hates her husband and she has a daughter that barely tolerates her and a son whom she loves dearly. Her son got kidnapped one time and it took 3 days to find him and when they did, he was in a dress with flowers in his hair and they never found out who took him. As she was taking him to school, she saw a redhead in her rear view. It was her husbands mistress and she said she was supposedly dead last week.

Okay so Ruby is the one in the prologue with the nightmare. Ivy is the 39 year old who left Stacksville for Texas 4 years ago and stopped at the front of Ruby and her husbands house once she made it. Now we're back at present day with Ruby as the POV.

The prologue mentions a girl having a nightmare where she is trapped with her younger self and a ceiling full of paper sunflowers begins to fall and suffocate them and that's when she wakes up. That dream happens every night. Then the book starts with Ivy, 4 years ago, who lived in the middle of nowhere with a bad job and she's 39. She saw a post of a suburban family and it was her last straw and she's leaving town.

Lowen decided to flush the letter down the toilet and eat the pieces of paper with Jeremy's name on them. She decides verity is a manipulator anyway that you spin the story but it's a question of which truth she was manipulating. Jeremy, lowen, and crew have their lives now with a new baby on the way. Now onto the epilogue another 6 months later.

Lowen shows Jeremy the manuscript and he freaks out and they go to verity's room and kill her hy making her throw up then choking her to death so it looks like an accident. Then seven months later, they go back to the house and Lowen finds a letter to Jeremy in the floorboards. Verity writes that the manuscript is all fake and that's how she got into the mind of a villain but she knew he didn't believe her.

Lowen got to the part in Verity's story where she deliberately killed her own daughter, Harper. She yelled at her for not having grief for Chastin then Jeremy had her take them out to the lake. She took the canoe with herself, Harper, and Crew then when they were far out, she tipped it over, swam back to the shore with crew leaving Harper to drown. Then pretended like she tried to save her. PSYCHOTIC BITCH.

Jeremy and Lowen finally kissed after she let him know it was her birthday and he made her a cake and wished her happy birthday at the stroke of midnight. As they were making out, Lowen saw verity at the top of the stairs and Jeremy didn't believe her and said she couldn't be faking her injuries.

Verity had a nightmare that Harper was suffocating Chastin and that made her finally care for chastin but then have distain for Harper. She tried to fuckin kill Harper in her sleep by sticking her fingers down her throat choking her. Then Jeremy told Lowen that he's the one that read her book, not Verity, and he loved her book and her writing mattered to him.

Lowen was sleepwalking and ended up in verity's room in her bed and when she woke up she was terrified. Jeremy found her and she explained that as a kid she would sleep walk but hasn't in a long time. He stayed in bed with her til he thought she was asleep again but she never fell back asleep being petrified and confused about Jeremy staying with her holding her head.

Oh and another thing, after Jeremy was done with paternity leave, that bitch left her babies to cry for hours while she got her sleep in. Then she fed them and got them to stop crying just before Jeremy returned home. She said it was great for her and the crying was good for her babies. SHES CRAZY
