when i left off evelyn’s relationship w celia was JUST beginning so to see what it’s currently become was so beautiful & the sudden end of it was so painfully jarring. need to see how they reconnect even though i just know i won’t get that resolve for many a chapters

with this conformation that kya had no involvement in chases death alongside only jumpin & tate knowing of his violence towards her… idk i’m thinking an accident involving a confrontation. oh so possibly from tate

okay, so I definitely sobbed a bit upon Jodie‘s return, along with what he brought with him. I’ve just finished the chapter where Chase has assaulted Kya, which I genuinely was not expecting. we haven’t heard or seen anything from Chase in how long? i can’t remember, but this was fucked up. also not gonna lie. the court chapters are really boring. hoping it’ll pick up once we get past some logistics.

okay so f chase til it’s backwards even though that went down a few chapters ago. missed tate bad so i’m glad he’s back AND with apologies, accountability, & dignity. i felt for her during that initial sexual encounter with chase & letting out such an audible cry, that instead of going unnoticed, gets shushed. really want to see what’s coming & if this cop frames her orrr what’s up

Curious to see when and how Celia reacts to Marco as her opponent. As well as the purpose of Baileys subplot?? I’m super intrigued but I don’t really understand where it’s going yet. Really love the in depth descriptions of the circus and its acts!

Marco has made some sort of first move although Celia is still unaware of her opponents identity. The twins seem to be growing suspicious of Marco and Chandresh is potentially becoming ill? I’m still really enjoying!!

i was really enjoying the mystery of the marsh girl but i’m getting distracted 🤭
