okay so f chase til it’s backwards even though that went down a few chapters ago. missed tate bad so i’m glad he’s back AND with apologies, accountability, & dignity. i felt for her during that initial sexual encounter with chase & letting out such an audible cry, that instead of going unnoticed, gets shushed. really want to see what’s coming & if this cop frames her orrr what’s up

okay, so I definitely sobbed a bit upon Jodie‘s return, along with what he brought with him. I’ve just finished the chapter where Chase has assaulted Kya, which I genuinely was not expecting. we haven’t heard or seen anything from Chase in how long? i can’t remember, but this was fucked up. also not gonna lie. the court chapters are really boring. hoping it’ll pick up once we get past some logistics.
