The earth, a passion for some, a prison for all.

Still waiting for this one to kick off but so far it’s a nice tableau of peasant life under the second empire with a nice recap of feudalism and revolutions

Slow burn on what is promised to be a murderer of a novel. These bickering peasants are setting their own boobytraps amongst the fat of their unbridled obsession: LAND. Seems silly but I never owned a farm. The outfits sound nice so maybe one day
