Ugh I love these fucking guys

Bruh I’m so done with this book.

Reads like bad AO3 slop with way too much gore for its own good. I draw the line at “weird hate sex with mutilation and blood”. Call me a prude idc.

Just finished Book 1:

Kinda bored, I think it might be cause I went straight from book 2 and usually I switch up between installments.

And it seems to be repeating things from the siege and war stuff of Book 2 and really doing some hardcore exposition out of nowhere.

Marsh’s stuff is cool, I always thought he was underutilised so excited to see where they go with him

So far it’s a bit too similar to Rebecca, in the mystery of this enigmatic woman becoming the obsession of the prog, but I’m intrigued to see where it goes.

I stopped cause it was a little boring, but will probably revisit soon (or maybe not)

I need to actually finish books it’s becoming a problem

Really great read. Loved the humour and absurdity aided the plot and vice versa. Ankh-Morpork is a great setting and the characters were really fun.
