“Some people, those with money and the ear of power, never pay for their crimes the way ordinary people do.”

Well ain’t that the truth !!!

This book has shattered my soul…. I started it think meh idk what people are talking about to feeling destroyed 😩

I am sobbing!!!!

“I was brave, wasn’t I”

😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

“you are my sunlight in the dark and the ground beneath my feet. Because of you, I can survive.”
😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

🖤

Omg I loved this so much!!!

Damn this is pretty good. Definitely what I needed to get me out of my slump

“Happiness was the greatest torture of all because it could all be taken away—and it was so much worse than if you’d never experienced it at all.”

Ugh why am I am still reading this? Nothing about this book is good at this point it’s all just sex and maybe maybe a hint of something nefarious…. I guess that’s why I keep trying to get through it but the FMC is legit insufferable.

I keep coming back to this because everyone says it’s good but idk. This first 30% has been a struggle for me and maybe it’s because I find the FMC annoying….
She reads flat to me and I’m so sad because this is my kind of book.. idk 😩

This book literally feels like home and just familiar given the location and that I’m from the same state, walked the same streets etc. I love it so much

Ayo Drew is deranged like beyond psycho!!!!!

“I'll take a thousand cuts to my heart if it means you’ll stand here talking to me for five more minutes."

Spoiler: he’s forcing her to push glass in his chest 😩

“If I have to be the villain in your story, then I will be, but I’m not letting you go.”

I’m going to soft DNF for now….

Omg I freaking love Wes 🥹.

“Don’t want a lot of girls at your party?”
“Nah, just one.”

I’m not really sure where the plot is going ???

Omg Wren is useless!!!!!!!!!!!!

No I don’t ship this………….

Ughhh I’m just going to chalk up Gray and Wren to forced proximity.
I mean I loved their banter in Silver Elite buttttt Crossssssss.

Damn cross!!!

I freaking knew it!!!!!! Ahhhhh

The way Wren gets under his skin!!! Omgg

Wren is definitely my kind of FMC! I love her

I’m liking this so far, it’s giving a mix of Divergent and Code 8 ish in a way.

My heart hurts so bad for Iris!
To be hurt and destroyed the way she was FML I can’t even imagine.

But to be loved the way August loves her god it’s everything!

Omgggg August West I’m In love 😍
