Stephen King, why do you want me to hate Peter McVries so bad😭 I’m glad that in the movie they were made single and his backstory was changed completely. It’s also interesting that they got rid of Pearson and Scramm completely and merged their defining features and ailments with other characters

Everyone is more endearing in the movie imo. Stebbins is such an odd guy in the book. They captured Barkovitch pretty well so far. Olson and McVries being white is lowkey throwing me off. Art is a lot less humble. idk who Pearson is, but they keep mentioning him. Collie? Yes. Garraty is such a little dirtbag, but I attribute that to Stephen King just being a perv and documenting it in all his books.
