Book club Book for July 😎

Been meaning to read this for ages

Still on my journey to find a romance book that works for me. Her own league was not that bad. I binged it in a couple of days and thats something ig. However, I realized I enjoy the book only when I change dialogue and characterization and plot points 😃. I read so much contemporary romance lately (mainly thanks to off-campus hyperfixation), but I have yet to find a style that works for me.

Unexpected Taylor mention, and Folklore nonetheless 🤏🤏

I mean don’t get me wrong it is in a completely heartbreaking context. But still…taste.

This is genuinely a horror plot.

The fact that there are finite Agatha Christie books is one of the sadder truths of life.

I am listening to the audiobook for this. From everything I knew about the book I was concerned about the pacing and potential out-of-pocket plot.. but so far I’m really enjoying the balance of the pacing and the style of writing. I feel like it’s keeping me engaged while staying true to the stylistic nature of the writing and themes.
Having said that what the hell is gonna happen in the rest of this book!

Wow.
Her voice as a writer is smooth in a way I did not expect.

In a reading slumppp. This is the third book I pick up.
