Entering the endgame now.

“I have nothing to establish except the clothing I’m wearing.”
“You own nothing?”
“ They keep my salary in account somewhere on earth. I’ve never needed it. Except to buy civilian clothes on my - vacation.”
(Odd, never thought about how a space militant would never need or use his own pay.)

“No, you don’t understand. I destroy them.”

“ I didn’t want to see you.”
“They told me.”
“I was afraid I’d still love you.”
“I hoped that you would.”
“My fear, your wish - both granted.”

Sometimes lies were more dependable than the truth.

And so this was a holy battle where fate was the weapon, the prize and the battleground.

They said the screams could be heard from orbit. They were right.

Again, super cool to see more from this universe after so long. Cultures, weapons, animals, places and characters all feel so natural.

“Sifu Toph has a dad?”
“What’d you think, she popped out of a rock?”
“It’d make sense, wouldn’t it?”

“Good Lord, Poirot!” Hastings exclaimed.
“Do you know, I’d give a considerable sum of money to see you make a thorough ass of yourself—just for once. You’re so confoundedly conceited!”
Poirot/Hasting’s companionship is so funny.
