Again, super cool to see more from this universe after so long. Cultures, weapons, animals, places and characters all feel so natural.

“Sifu Toph has a dad?”

“It’d make sense, wouldn’t it?”

“Good Lord, Poirot!” Hastings exclaimed.
“Do you know, I’d give a considerable sum of money to see you make a thorough ass of yourself—just for once. You’re so confoundedly conceited!”
Poirot/Hasting’s companionship is so funny.

Time for another A.C. (Adaptation?)
We return to an old character: Detective Extraordinaire, Hercule Poirot.
Apparently he’s got many stories. Hopefully all good. I’m quite fond of her writing, always creating an elegant style and dense mood.

I can’t bring myself to tell Luke what he wants. It’s humiliating. Let him believe it’s just money.

O. MY. WORD. WHYY?!!

For claiming she’s so smart, why is Adrienne so freaking stupid? All she had to do was own up to her mistake and file a restraining order with the police. Now she’s committed several felonies, and is ignoring death threats. What’s more important? Perfect public reputation, or your VERY OWN LIFE and relationships? Well, we’ve now seen which is more important to Adrienne.

We can just barely see Ethan‘s BMW from the window, and it looks like it’s just a big amount of snow. He’s got a shovel in the trunk, but it won’t be enough. Not enough to get out of here anyway.

Why is there a shovel in his trunk if they weren’t expecting the blizzard?

Okay, prediction is too obvious, and written as such.
So, I can now predict that whatever twist in store for me is going to be a biggie!

PREDICTION TIME:
Patient ‘EJ’ is in fact Ethan, and is likely involved with the “disappearance” of Adrianne.
However, prediction seems too obvious.

Evidence: I don’t like him, he fits the description of the patient, and he’s too calm in a ‘seemingly unfamiliar’ environment.

I’m disappointed in Paige for her judgement, even though I’m not surprised…
And also, she wars far too much makeup. I don’t trust women who came in layers of foundation like a mask that adheres directly to their skin.

(I already like Adrianne. Can’t wait for that to backfire. Intelligence often leads to isolation and coldness.)
