Truly remarkable I couldn’t put it down. Teared up several times. I don’t think a story quite like this has ever been told- such a thorough and fascinating perspective. Definitely some tough content, not a light read but an important one

Getting to the climax pretty soon it seems, the last stretch has been really good. Some excellent character development. A lot of this story involves conversations and thinking more than anything else, but I am seeing that pay off here already

The art is really awesome and some of the stories have been pretty cool- it’s mostly about the art though. They are vignettes mostly. The Namor story was really fun

I have been much more invested in this book than the previous one from the start

Lon is way too goated and likeable she is so gonna kill him off ned stark style… also this has been very solid so far

Got through the Mark meeting Nolan in space arc which ends with him bringing Oliver home and still haven’t reached the climax of the Reanimen arc so the structure is definitely way different from the show, still really liking it and enjoying the fast pace. Dupli-Kate is the worst man. Amber and Rex definitely come off more likable here. Not William though lol. Also they are kinda doing Debbie dirty

This got like way darker and more serious than I thought it ever would following the first couple chapters. It’s really good- the well paced character developments, fascinating world building ideas, and simple but intense plot have brought it from a fun spare time read to a page turner. I really love the vibes and fantasy elements

Way too soon to have any opinion but I’m excited to finally read this series it has been on my priority list for ages

This series is a really great read, I’m glad I picked it up for sure. Even though I had seen the show it is still just as fun to read, especially since the pacing, order, and details vary considerably. I really like the coloring in the comic too

Really enjoying this, it’s actually been awesome so far. It is way faster paced than I expected and I love the humor of it. Almost all of the characters seem more likable in the comic than the show to me so far with the possible exception of William who is annoying in both. I thought the show did the guardians of the globe wipeout way better but otherwise the comic has been maybe better if anything imo

Ok the battle of Sekigahara arc is the best part of this series so far Kojiro’s aura is unreal and Inoues art is at the top of his game not to mention he made me care so much about Kouna and his gang so quickly…
Also the first page of volume 21 is already one of the most beautiful things I’ve seen

I have enjoyed this section of the story quite a bit but have definitely decided I do not like King as a writer lol. Its going a little off the rails too like why tf would he kill off Nick if that is such a waste then the spies going west plot has been for no fucking reason it’s getting a little annoying and all of that just for the guys to go west to fight after all like 4 of them will be able to take Flagg out

Loving the Kojiro storyline!

The art in this series is actually so insanely good…
Tsukikaze Kohei is a seriously awesome character and I’m really looking forward to seeing him developed as Musashi takes on the chain and sickle (dope ass weapon)

The Wild Hunt was one of my favorite Hellboy stories yet. So many awesome panels and brought the story into a direction I did not see coming. Arthurian legends are my shit and Hellboy being a descendent and wielding Excalibur is actually the coolest thing I can think of plus he was wearing that dope ass jacket while he pulled it out. I also love his dynamic with Alice. This one was a game changer and amazing!

The Mole is a short prequel where Hellboy has premonitions of the terrible times that are to come, where he becomes demon king. Darkness Calls was a hectic ride where Hellboy is basically just running and fighting for his life against all sorts of shit. Gods and witches fighting all around him, wolves saving him from the undead, etc. there’s almost too much going on, but it’s cool. Koschei fight was the best

Ok so the man in black has finally been introduced and is haunting everyone’s dreams like Freddy Krueger and the old lady playing the guitar is doing the same thing except good. I like that characters are starting to meet each other on their travels. Feels like walking dead season 4

I think King’s prose just isn’t really for me, neither is this genre frankly, but the book is not without charm. Nick is definitely my favorite and I like his perspective most, then Stew. Stew meeting the stranger with the dog just recently has been the best development in a while, he is a very interesting character. Larry is such a bum, didn’t care for the trash can plot, and Franny is pretty good usually

Hisanobu is such a bum/ Nomiya is so goated

First of all I love the cover of this volume the color is gorgeous. The art in the book itself has also been and it seems like we are getting straight to business here

The Island was loaded with goated moments and dropped a major lore expansion

I fucking love Hellboy he is the greatest character! This took a turn I didn’t really expect in a way that i absolutely love. I really love Roger, getting Lobster Johnson action was dope, and Hellboy is just so awesome. Rogers arc in Being Human is excellent, Conquerer worm was crazy and full of incredible moments, and The Third Wish was super folksy. Looking forward to The Island!

Man it is good to be reading Hellboy again. First story was “right hand of doom”, which was basically a recap of the last volume plus announcing the focus of this volume being on how Hellboy’s right hand is supposedly the key to the apocalypse. Second story was “box full of evil”, which was very strong. Devil locked in a box by st dunstan, gets released, hellboys beats him up, etc plus prince of hell cameo

Story is pretty ass but the art is actually gorgeous

Plot twist made this book way more interesting, definitely the best part so far

Finally, kraven! This is actually good now! Hooray!

Ah yes, the wedding of Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson! I hated it
