Frickin awesome so far

Based off the first chapter this may well be my favorite frank miller book so far

I have been nailing these quizzes

Really awesome. Despite not that much going on compared to other entries, each character perspective is so good and there have been so crazy events. Hearing Darrow spoken of by others is so sick it’s crazy how far he came

“Just Lying on the Grass at Blackwater” has to be one of my favorite poems ever

Really excellent, the science is so interesting and the main character is so memorable. The narrative voice is amazing

Alright so far, kind of messy

Wow the war went quickly and was brutal but also not really how expected, the conclusion was very interesting to me and shows Thragg to be a very pragmatic villain, I wonder how this will all turn out… there are a lot of chapters left for it to get crazy again

Holy nuts that last part was so crazy I would have thought it was the ending- this book would have to be absolute dogshit from this point on in order to not be 5 stars it is going actually insane everything is so good

Starts out pretty much identical to season 3 of the show. What a crazy run that was… officially past what has already been animated now

Actually cried at the Tarr part good lord that was so intense, such a huge moment

Excellent so far, crazy to see how far the characters have come since the start of the series. Also Shae come on man what are we doing

Feels masterful to me. Drew me in from page 1 and I remained captivated. The author has excellent control of the page and what the reader feels

Interesting to see her bounce between religion and nature. “When I am Among the Trees” potentially my favorite so far

Truly remarkable I couldn’t put it down. Teared up several times. I don’t think a story quite like this has ever been told- such a thorough and fascinating perspective. Definitely some tough content, not a light read but an important one

Getting to the climax pretty soon it seems, the last stretch has been really good. Some excellent character development. A lot of this story involves conversations and thinking more than anything else, but I am seeing that pay off here already

The art is really awesome and some of the stories have been pretty cool- it’s mostly about the art though. They are vignettes mostly. The Namor story was really fun

I have been much more invested in this book than the previous one from the start
