OK, this needs to be said, it’s driving me insane.

Colson (Gabriel’s son) does not have step-siblings. He has HALF-siblings. When you share one parent you are half siblings not step. Step siblings are children whose separate parents are married. They do not share blood relation.

AND Sweetheart is a term of endearment NOT a nickname.

I’m listen and reading. Anotonio Amato was not the right choice for the voice of a man in his late 20/early 30’s. His voice reminds me of a radio show story time show when I was a child. It’s not believable.

So far Melanie is one of the most unlikeable heroines I’ve read from Evelyn Sola. 😖 I’ll see if she can redeem herself. 🤦🏽‍♀️

OK, this upsets me. Women have a ton or

You can tell when a writer has no experience with children. Emma is 4 years old! She should no longer have a bottle and she’s old enough to get out of bed on her own not stay in bed and scream. She’s a toddler, not a baby! 😡 She is preparing for kindergarten so she should be in preschool during the day.

I totally resent the term “having an affair” that implies she or he are married to someone else. Neither of them are married. There’s no affair. It may not be convenient or ethical, but they aren’t doing anything wrong and they definitely aren’t cheating.

I just don't see how he's gonna come back from this.

Sooo....she's living in a big ass 4 bedroom apartment by herself and she doesn't mover her sister in with her?????

So I've read the whole series and am excited to see Evan and Franky Liegh's story. I have one question?

Why aren't the children's names consistent with the previous books? Hope's and Kale's daughter was named Elena in Lead Me Home. Nikki and Oliver's daughter was Sydney after his sister. In this but Elena is now Charlotte and Sydney is now Becca??? What happened....did she forget?

I loved this book up until 29.

I really would like to finish this book, however, I can't get past this dumb as reason for him to get in this predicament. He was in a car with rookies talking shit and he's the only person being singled out when he supposed said nothing. Then this Asha person taking out her frustrations over what happened to her sister on him?! He didn't tuck her sister, why is the his problem to fix?

So I'm listening this time around and the narrator, CJ Bloom, seems to be uncomfortable with the f-word. Even though the word comes up in the dialogue, she either leaves it out or uses a substitute like hell. (SMH)

This is the 3rd time reading this book. It's one of my faves, however, I haven't read the book since 2013. I must have changed a ton because the heroine is an annoying, immature, insecure, pain in the ass. For as mature as she claimed to be all this back and forth and stringing the hero along was the definition of immature.

So she’s convinced him to make a large
donation to feed the homeless but she’s hasn’t told him he’s a father and gotten herself out of the possibility of being homeless herself? The heroine is not as intelligent as the author wants to portray.

Also, the timeline needs some work. She’s having sex 3 weeks after giving birth and having a torn perineum? 😒

First read by this author.

This is on of my favorite tropes so I’m hoping it blows me away.

So far wondering if there are cell phones since it seems the heroine needs video proof of her being harassed at work. 🤬
