A new dynamic has entered the villa...

Finished part one. It's actually sad to witness someone silently grieve the loss of someone they loved and the love they received from them. That's incredibly painful.

Getting into the meat of the book, I'm glad. You can see the difference and coming of age in the brothers in their individual lives and I'm enjoying that aspect. Hopefully soon, I can see more of their dynamic together.

This reminds of a southern-based criminal minds. It's erie and creepy. It's a slow burn thrill.

And if the ending doesn't end how I think it will, I might cry!!!

John Marrs has a reputation for writing strange yet thrill-seeking books, so I should know better, I think I'm just uber creeped out.

Had he told her the truth earlier, would we be in this position? Probably so. But he still should have been honest 🙄
