The use of footnotes is so cute

Loving it so far. Excellent follow up to the first novel so far.

I love the reference to her other works on pg 17 “a flyer from a Christmas tree farm on the Eastern Shore and a postcard from some antiques shop in Annapolis.”

Changing to the audiobook was a NEED.

The memes I saw saying “no one is likable” really nailed it. These people are all trash.

This is so boring I’m wondering if I do like reading or if my love left out one of the Doors she likes haphazardly mentioning

Do not recommend if you are house hunting. Stressssss

A purpose behind this plot has yet to be found.

Had I gotten ahold of this before the new year, I too would have voted it Book of the Year. And I’m not even halfway.

Bachman writing is some of my favorite and I’m buying a physical copy just to highlight. I do not want to just hear them.

I was hoping to be more captivated by this by now but it’s verrrry jumpy. Not bad, just jumpy.

Verrrrry uninterested when I started, but it has my heart strings now.

Not liking my chances of finishing this before Christmas… but it’s cute so far!

The great thing about reading a book before I fall asleep is that sometimes I win and get to read a great book, and sometimes I fall asleep. Lately the latter has been winning out so I am SLOW on this one.
