okay im locking in

Maybe I'm just Twin Peaks brained rn, but there's something really Lynchian about this book.
The dream motif, the sexual violence, the symbolism, grasping at some meaning that's just out of reach.
It's much more bleak and nihilistic tho.
The writing varies greatly in quality for me, perhaps a fault of translation.
