Eeeekk I'm almost there. Dream sequence was insane, I think I was sleepy driving into work and by the time I got to the parking lot I was like waitttttt what's going on (only took me to lunch to figure out it was a dream haha)

The Daniels boys not being able to reach full strength was kinda obvious. Still had fun listening to it though. Loving Alice's new skills and loving the team working together for class. I thought Camille was annoying at first, but she's pretty cool now and bada** in the battle against Sasha. Can't wait to see how this book wraps up.

This series is so interesting, I really need to buy the physical copies, I feel like I'd fly through them. I loveeee the Halloween party. Nick and Mary are so intertwined, I'm just loving their relationship regardless if it's simply a friendship or builds to something more eventually. Love how each character gets their own focus and growth, so awesome.

Feels like I'm going really fast through this book without it even really feeling like the story is going anywhere. It's a surreal feeling. Nick is really growing on me this book and I know hershel and Mary are an item, but low key I could totally see Mary and Nick becoming an item (most definitely not going to happen, but I feel little vibes from them)

Did not expect the main character to uhhh 💇🏻‍♂️ like that....

It feels like each chapter is a new short story, so it really isn't ramping up much plot wise. Still a very strange and gory read.

This has more gore and brutality than I originally thought. I love it.

Not much happened in 32 pages lol, just wanted to update tbh.

Okay this is becoming more intriguing. Also cannot believe how much I've missed reading, I laid in the pool for an hour and a half and just read, even have a little sun urn to show for it ;.)..

I haven't updated in a while ig, last was at 96 pages now over 200.

Anyhow, it's getting a bunch better. Still have not seen the movie but I'm excited to see it. Also excited to see what happens with Marcellus, if Tova and Cameron let him free before he passes.

If only you could see my face when Ethan said he worked as an elephant feces shoveler and he drank elephant shit because his coworkers watered it down through a filter. I would burn my mouth on fire if that happened to me.

"Whose your money now?" Out of Marys mouth is the plot twist of the century, how something possessed her to say that is crazy

Alice has got some real smooth moves. Also Roy’s character development was super unexpected for me. Cannot wait to finish now, it’s getting really good and I just know it’s building up to an even better sequel.

The tundra and idk different rooms/blackout assessments were so interesting. It's heating up between characters too, so good now. I'm hooked!

I wish we were seeing more norm and powered friendships or interactions, especially if they are in class and lunch together, butttt it's super cool so far. I love how Mary keeps getting things wrong, it really puts how her powers have their limits.

Kind of bored ngl. I think it'll pick up, but no rn I'm bored sorry 🤷‍♂️

I really like the concept of this book. I'm listening to it so slowly... I'm remembering most the characters, Mary is so interesting to me rn like what's going on with her she's strange?! Obviously I like Vinnie and Nick rn too, the others are feeling majorly side lined ofc

This is going to take me phewww quiet sometime, but the prologues was good so far, not that I'd want someone sticking their finger in my drink.

Actually doing physical book this time to digest it more.

Most likely going to finish this tomorrow. It’s so good, I will never hate a Percy Jackson book, I think it’s impossible for me. Cannot wait to read the next one in the trilogy. I really hope after this trilogy we can get another series with Percy and Annabeth in college, even if it’s not supposed to be as dangerous, I feel like a good college quest would be amazing.

I was trying to listen to the audiobook before watching the movie, but I cannot focus on it at work and it's ruining it for me. And I put myself on a book buying ban do I can't go back on it, can I?

I didn't realize how short this was. I'm enjoying the annabeth and Percy moments sm ugh

I know this series gets a bunch of hate, but I think it’s actually pretty good. I’m hoping the third book in the trilogy has a rather major god, I would like it to be a little heightened field, but I still enjoy seeing the OG group back together again.
