i’ve been reading this for a min and i didnt really care for the first 3 stories, but the assassin and the underworld was gorgeous. so perfect and has made me adore celaena even more!! i am scared to read more because i love sam so so much and im not ready for him to be gone but oh my god the confessional scene?? “you’re a damned idiot. you’re a moron and an ass and a damned idiot. because i’d pick you.”

MADE A BARGAIN TO DIE TOGETHER?? fucking dumbasses. this book has made me hate rhys. rhys and feyre expect everyone to drop everything when it comes to their mate being threatened. but cassian? no one really gives a fuck that cassian’s mate could die and im so fucking pissed off. you know what? i HOPE feyre dies in childbirth. sick of that dumbass fucking high lord and lady shit feyre is weak and useless.

this book has potential and it’s ruined by carelessness. nesta has a brutal and beautiful story and it deals with a lot of past physical and sexual abuse. everytime we get to where nesta’s vulnerable and lets people in, it’s cut short by amateur smut. jt sucks bc nesta and cassian have so much chemistry, but sjm refuses to tap into any of it aside from sexual chemistry. feyre got her story. give nesta her’s.

this book is pretty bad. terrible story, terrible pacing but the characterization is there :/ nesta is a great main character she is cool asf

so. rhys and feyre are getting to the point where they’re insufferable. what do you mean you banish ur sister to the house of wind and then you’re excited while everyone is heading out bc all you can think about is fucking each other? i feel like this is also out of character for feyre for her to just prioritize getting dick over her family. i’m irritated with this book so far!
