Okay I think I’m starting to get the picture. Still some bouncing around that doesn’t create the clearest image but there are some beautiful poetic reflections on life as a woman and educator in revolutionary Iran.

Reading chapter 7 first.

Interesting Memoir, little hard for me to sit and read more than a few pages at a time because of its staccato nature, still enjoyable and eye opening though. Hoping for deeper and more intimate moments as I continue reading

Daisy’s Valentine:

Even the most exciting things grow boring when confined to routine. Joey wants to be a protector. “I want to cast my mantle of protection over you”, he says. Daisy sees that he is just a hurt boy, eager for “something extreme to happen so you can show (people) that you love them, and that you deserve love from them.” He gets the chance to protect, but cowers, Daisy sees thru the facade!

I’ve already written 2 poems LOL. Inspired to say the least.
