Only 41 pages in and the author has already managed to strike conversations about patriarchy, domestic violence and the ills of polygamy. I expected it to be slow but it's pretty fast paced. I'm hooked!!!

I'm loving it so far. The slowwwww burrn and constant yearning is just right up my alley.

The plot is engaging enough but the writing is quite flat. It's quite alright so far.

Matt and Maeve's backstory is kind of weird, on Matt's part.
But Conall and Katie's?? I love it!!!
This book is actually interesting and I would have gone farther if I wasn't also reading The Ornithologist's Field Guide to Love.

I think this is another perfect 4-star read😍
I am in love with Devon and Beth!!!! And the tension?? Damn!!! It's tensioning🥺
Also, the book is so funny🤣🤣
Even the cameos offer such incredible comic relief, for instance the milkman begging Devon and Beth to stop with the "cheesy" jokes...that scene was hilarious🤣

I'm not sure I understand what's going on. The narrative style is definitely unhinged because why is it in first person pov but yet I can't tell who or what the narrator is??
I like it but at the same time, I don't fully get it yet.

This book is nothing like what I expected. It's so funny and weird. These ornithologists are absolutely insane cause why are train tracks being melted😭
Everyone is just crazy in their own way and I love it!!! It's the perfect kind of chaotic🤭
Not to mention, the tension between the mcs😍 I love it!!! It's complete insta-attraction with plenty of banter.
Rivals to lovers??? Yes please!!!!
