It’s good. Glad i started reading it. Totally difference from what I normally read but it’s good to try new things

Supposed to be a classic so let’s try something different

It’s ok. Hasn’t really gripped me yet but it’s fast paced and interesting enough to continue. I needed to get back to listening to books anyways and this slight enough to break the break

Pretty good

It’s ok. The main story is enjoyable overall, a few things are silly like our protagonist’s father signing up and his explanation as to why. Heinlein’s sequences where he uses a flashback to go off on tangents about his personal beliefs are a bit jarring and comedic in their idiocy.

Still a fan of this author even though his stuff is starting to show its age.

I like the book. There is a storyline about a nephew of a banker that im not really sure what it’s doing in the rest of the book. But the main story about the cheating wives of the kings sons is entertaining.

It’s good but isn’t my favorite. I’ve also read it in disjointed bursts.

Great history. Super engaging writing. I am glad I chose to read this again. Most of th me information on the early Rome (conflict of the orders, Samnite Wars, Appius Claudius Caecus) I had forgotten.

I love how fast paced it is. It seems like most of the books I read are a bit “slow”. The story is great.

Excellent history of early Rome. I like the early history. It sets up the awsome story of the republic really well. Once we get into the emperor period I feel like Rome isn’t quite as interesting. It could have just been the books I’ve read. There are plenty of good options.

It’s really good. Really really good. The swan wing guy is the only thing I’m not sure about. But yeah I made a really good selection here.

I have enjoyed it. It’s certainly dated but it’s very good.

Book is badass. I just keep falling when i listen to it every night so I’ve heard the same part quite a few times. I go back to about where I recall the story being and by the time I catch up to where I was in off in lalaland.

Maya is a hard character to like

The chapter about the Martian underground conference was great

I could see someone being bored with this but I really enjoying it. Love the slow burn. A few heart stopping action scenes. Well. One action scene. But once again it is the journey with KSR I’m noticing as this is the third of his novels I’ve read so far.

I’m liking it a lot. It’s slow but everything is good. Each chapter follows a different character and most of them are from red mars.

So glad to be able to continue this incredible story.

I like it now. Haha. Convoy arrived back at earth and boy is it strange.

Around halfway and I’m still not sure. Every chapter has a different narrator or third person pov.

Surprised that the ship actually made it to their destination fairly early on. As the characters debate what to do with what they’ve found the book puts out some exciting ideas. I liked the chapters building up to a revolt as well.

Halfway through so we might as well finish it.

The book is alright so far. I need to actually some time on it. I’ve gone over the same parts quite a few times because I keep falling asleep at night when I put the audiobook on.

No idea how this will end but I certainly wish to avoid any spoilers. Thankfully that’s pretty simple with books. Just don’t go reading any reviews or looking anything up if it has to do with author or this title. The journey has been wonderful so far. Characters aren’t great or particularly intriguing minute ship. But the story is awesome.

Enjoying. Once the colonists landed on Aurora I was thinking boy is this just a variation on Red Mars? But no. It’s a completely different story. Not just because of the setting. I’m finding to just enjoy the journey with this author

Enjoying the story. Letting the world be built. Some cool concepts. Looking forward to figuring out where’s it’s going. Who or what is the antagonist?

Have to return to library for a bit. Part six is where to begin. Amazing
