Maybe it gets better? Maybe the story is good? But the writing is very immature and undeveloped

Took 3 attempts to get ch1 and I’m only at Ch 16 bc I’m too stubborn to quit.

the author spent a weekend at a Rennfest then forgot the assignment. The swings between faux-medieval and modern slang 😤🤬

The story is good, but not good enough to suffer through

It seems like this book was more focused on having good sex scenes and being inclusive that it was having a decent story and plot

Ugh. I’m trying so hard to like this book. Chapter 54 and still waiting for something… Anything… To happen
It’s painfully predictable, totally cliché, and a total letdown. The plot had so much promise but the writing just isn’t there.
