I found my favorite type of poetry

A top read for me hands down

For some reason, I had a total different version of the story before I read it…. Making this book even crazier than imagined. For some reason, my head is stuck with the fact that this book’s setting is in the Victorian age or 1940s. But it keeps dropping the word ‘ denim’ and words that are quite modern. So far, I am enthralled with this novel. Ugh I wish I could read while I close my eyes.

I <3 this book. Definitely a 5/5 for me!!

I’m taking a break from romance- now this is an amazing piece of work. I have not read the adventures of huckleberry Finn, so it’s a new perspective to start here. Once I read the huckleberry story, I feel I will be aghast.

The breaking of the 4th wall is rather an odd feeling to experience from a book… I don’t hate it- I’m just not used to Penelope/Atwood talking to me so casually.

I must take a break here… what a sweet beginning- until things became really heavy. The existence of small, beautiful, sentimental experiences also are intertwined with small, somber, disheartening moments.

I LOVE A GOOD UNRELIABLE NARRATOR(S)😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Truly a thought provoking experience.
In all honesty, aside from my whimsy, I would like to think I think similarly to Piranesi. Although logical, he has a deep sense and understanding of the world around him. Piranesi is optimistic and tries to overcome challenges with mindfulness.

I wish there was a little for suspense- but I suppose I’m getting to that part when the pictures start to make sense.
Hopefully I’ll be done with the book either tomorrow or Friday :)

So far so good-
Still jumped scared by the creepy pictures, but I need for this book to start picking up. Also, the font is tiny as fuck. Normally I read on my kindle because I get to change the font and its sizes.

So, this is the type of book where I will finish this by the end of 2026. Now- will I be able to retain myself from reading the whole thing before 2026? I guess we’ll never know- but I’ll try my darnest

Although I will continue to read this book because I do enjoy it- it’s rather predictable so far? I mean c’mon… chef? Lemon? It’s all connected from the beginning it seems! I may be totally wrong in my predictions, but so far…. It’s rather obvious.

Ok- I’m really worried the end will make me cry when the mmc will (maybe??) go back to his time… or she will go back to her time…
I just really hope there is a happy ending.

It’s just one of those books I can’t put down- out of enjoyment and fear.
