I finished it but man. 🧍‍♂️

I thought the ending might have made it better and at some point it sorta did. But I found the murderer reveal underwhelming and the plot twist was underwhelming and kinda weird so aaaaa I don’t think I liked this book

AAAAAAA NGL the banter is really cute BUT the romance feels rushed like in their second meeting, there was already romantic tension which I feel like makes no sense for this type of setting

Aaaa wonsik is really the best character. Also I wish daehyun had more chapters because I find his perspective more interesting yet he has way less chapters despite being a main character

So far I’m not really liking the main character, I feel like she’s kinda poorly developed and she just keeps talking about how much she wants to bring her sister back which I get that she’s desperate but it’s very repetitive.

Patience is gone in this society where every one tries to do everything as fast as possible and even the fastest speed isn’t enough now that you know it’s possible you believe even faster speeds can be possible too

The exposition is confusing and the author tries to do a like “we discover things with the narrator” but it’s very confusing because there’s meant to be a whole backstory we did see

But the crucial point isn’t that it’s wrong to choose to spend your time relaxing… it’s that the distracted person isn’t really choosing at all

Attention is your life and being distracted is wasting your attention or your literal life. And this doesn’t just mean scrolling, your job, school can be a distraction. It takes your attention away. You are investing your attention towards it instead of investing that attention to something that may or may not be more meaningful.

Also like how we have one life and we have to choose the important things cus it’s importable to do everything we want, it’s not in reality. Also how we will always be disappointed by reality because fantasy allows us every control so you might as well start it will never be perfect

Omg the stuff about mortality… I thought it was gonna get all dark and philosophical which I wasn’t sure I would be into but it’s actually relatively light and talks about how we have to take note of the fact that our lives are limited and that we aren’t gurenteed the next moment. And it reminds me of how many times I hear these horrible crimes that could have happened to me!
