Attention is your life and being distracted is wasting your attention or your literal life. And this doesn’t just mean scrolling, your job, school can be a distraction. It takes your attention away. You are investing your attention towards it instead of investing that attention to something that may or may not be more meaningful.

Omg the stuff about mortality… I thought it was gonna get all dark and philosophical which I wasn’t sure I would be into but it’s actually relatively light and talks about how we have to take note of the fact that our lives are limited and that we aren’t gurenteed the next moment. And it reminds me of how many times I hear these horrible crimes that could have happened to me!
