I really hope this asshole gets some comeuppance, because he is a real piece of shit. I also wish this broad would be a little more clever with her bite.

She’s so fucking annoying, I feel like my eyes are going to start bleeding. Most recent, “I didn’t check in with the compass”, just thought I’d wander around a bit in a cursed city while my luuurve’s life is on the line. Yeah totally, solid plan. Don’t even get me started on the cringe af prose.

I’m so early in this book but the main character sounds a little bit sociopathic, like I’m sure he will straighten up but all his moves are completely calculated without a single thought to other people’s feelings or connecting with anyone and that’s just weird. Maybe just avoidant personality disorder but not pulling me in, I’m ready for him to get some feelings

I really hate the trope of: we just can't tell anyone yet because it will fuck everyone up. We just need to wait, keep it secret a little longer. It definitely won't blow up in our faces at the worst possible time, making it much worse than it would have been.

I kind of hate the premise, and I don’t like a book where the fmc is a fumbling idiot and the mmc always has the upper hand.

Honestly don’t know how far my progress is but I just have to say… fuck Mira, she suuuucks. Like Stephan is kind of douchy but he still deserves way better. She has the emotional maturity of a high school sophomore. Like, just have some integrity girl.
