Enjoying the read.
One message stood out in chapter 9.

It’s a nice read! It takes a very unexpected turn right at the beginning and things get bad fast.
So far, it sounds like the intro about humanity is just to justify why it doesn’t happen on Earth, but there may be more to it because it gets too much emphasis. However, I like that it could pretty much be on earth and in our time.

No surprise that this has definitely been written by AI prompted to create chapters, intros for each chapter then extending each chapter.

Too slow. And because it’s just one person’s pov, it’s too linear
