Not gonna lie, I'm actually really excited for this battle. The vibes of the story are now pretty close to Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation and I actually really like it.

Okay so basically this is what I've pieced together: The Old Palace Master was a pedo who liked Su Xiyan, but she fell in love with Tianlang-Jun and got pregnant. Because he was angry, the Old Palace Master orchestrated the trap for Tianlang-Jun using the excuse he was a demon, and Su Xiyan ran away to give birth. Tianlang-Jun, thinking she betrayed him, began his grand plan to destroy humanity.

If the book is insinuating what I think it's insinuating about the Old Palace Master...poor Luo Binghe😭 I freaking hate pedos. Poor baby's behavior makes so much more sense now.

Tianlang-Jun is such a diva, lounging in his coffin and then being all "oopsie there goes my arm again, let's just snap that back on." Like OKAY SIR! Also I'm loving this shift in the relationship between Luo Binghe and Shen Qingqiu, it seems much more genuine now and I think I'll have only positive things to say in the future.

Finally starting to see signs of an actual plot line! Seems like Shen Qingqiu accidentally unleashed Demon King Tianlang-Jun and he's gonna be the final boss in the end.

That was lowkey crazy. Like...that was not a romantic first kiss AT ALL. That was straight up crazy. These two are TOXIC.

Wow this book is really time skip heavy. I like it though, it serves the story well. Also I'm loving Shen Qingqiu's power up and all the changes he's bringing to the world of the novel as well. He might actually have a chance to contend with Luo Binghe in the future and that's going to be epic.

I'm still so conflicted about this story. It's good, and there are some parts that are really fun and exciting, but there's a lot of super boring overexplaining in between that I just can't get over. And I STILL don't really understand the point of the plot...

WHAT. WHAT DID I JUST READ??? WHAT DO YOU MEAN ZHEN DIED😭 I understand why he had to sacrifice himself to put the world back into balance but STILL. Prince Xian will only be truly happy if BOTH his mother and Zhen are alive. Trading one life for another seems pointless...

...I did not see that coming...that was done SO WELL. At first I was like "oh Hei Xing is just a grumpy old tortoise"...then, "Fahai disguised himself as Hei Xing?"...before finally, "WAIT THEY'RE THE SAME PERSON?!" I thought he was supposed to be the wise old mentor character but he was the VILLAIN!!! And then right when everything got happy, XIAN'S MOTHER DIED??? WHAT.

That was the heaviest few chapters yet...omg that's so sad. Jason wasn't a favorite of mine but I SWEAR he had plot armor (Apparently not). And Piper's reaction...that was just too raw and real...
