DNF - there was too much internal dialogue. Then I read the reviews and it looks like there is not much development and a whole lot more description about the MC's physical characteristics. Not currently in the mood for that.

33 min in and only 1 minute of actual conversation between the two. This is an 18 hour audiobook, I hope that I don’t get only 36 minutes of actual conversation between them.

29min - so much internal monologue from Vanessa, most of which was about how he looked, how big he was, and his body.
At this point I wish I had the book so I could skip over the monologue.

Chapter 12
I can’t believe he gave in to David’s bribe with the justification that “he’s doing it for Mia” It’s so annoying. Also by this point her friend Claire pointed out that maybe their reaction 9 years ago shouldn’t be held as being true today.

Chapter 9
It’s a 3.5/5 right now due to annoyance about:
Mia using his reaction from 9 years ago as evidence that he doesn’t like her like that. David causing work drama and bribing Noah with revealing the truth about their marriage for a promotion. These seem contrived and I personally would have liked to not have that, it would have been a lot more refreshing.
