ik sjm isn’t the one who created the tandem read for these books, but it’s so sinister that every time something juicy happens in one book, we switch to the other book. WITHOUT FAIL.

this book is absolutely delightful so far. it’s a nice break from the absolute insanity of eos and the last book. also love that it’s just been slice of life with purpose. it’s slower, it’s showing us everyone’s day-to-day life in antica, but the plot is always progressing. LOVE antica and the concept of the khagan. hoping they delve more into the family politics and kind of exploring each sibling
