In a mega reading slump but somehow hoping to push through this in time for book club 😅

At about just over the half way mark I was wondering how I was only half way through and what could possibly happen to have an entire other half of this book… this book has such high reviews I’m still hopeful it’s gonna be worth it but I can’t understand why it’s this long currently..

Re-reading to prepare for the second book must say this is a perfect spooky season read 👻

This has put me in the biggest reading slump, 37% in and nothing has happened. Such a good ending to the last book and so many things to be addressed but getting nothing… Considering a DNF but gonna take a break and maybe come back to this.
