Starting this in place of City of Songs because...well Expanse finale!

Currently reading the full beta read with Castle Dracula group. Looking forward to jumping back into the fray Graeme!

A great new part to the story but i have only one question. If all this happens so early on what the hell is in store for us in the rest? So much happens its a non stop action fest but the story is so varied between the past the long distant past and catching back up the current events. Great stuff as always and I really need you to write faster now Graeme you tease!

started beta read #2 of the first part of this book. I got there evetnually Graeme :p

Nearly done with the re-write, only a few point for Graeme to fix.

All seems to flow much better now, the characters situations fit, the action is unaffected and is still great. Shaping up nicely now!

Re-reading the authors new/re-written scenes from chapter 8 onwards.

Things drawing to a big conclusion now. Will read the original ending chapter 17 before reading the Authors revised ending.

Just finishing the section from previous beta read. Now onto the new stuff!

Started fresh yesterday after previous beta read and now 30% in.

After the initial preview release ARC read begins soon (receieved my epub today). Aiming to start this as soon as im done with Dean Koontz latest mini series.

It's been an interesting story with some good characters so far, aside from Rowlings Strike series i've never really read any crime novels. Will be interesting to see how the series continues and hope it doesn't just fall into crime of the week with no characters progression.

Very good so far, no big info dump of the comics (which i've not read) but enough little tidbits to keep me in the loop.

Well written and it has the feel of the series to a certain degree.

This is certainly interesting and Fry's humour comes through well enough but there's a lot of footnotes and a lot of dry periods that make me struggle to keep reading. After reading Circe this is a bit of a come down as that was all story whereas this is all mythological 'history'.

Think of it like reading the Silmarillion straight after the Lord of the Rings.
