“Unfortunately, my cousin fought like a sorority girl at the beginning of a night of drinking, and Campbell Ames fought like one at the end.” 😂😂😂 This book has had so many great one-liners already.

I love the gentle little pokes at HP in this book. A quote: "Just when you think you're having a scene without Simon, he drops in to remind you that everyone else is a supporting character in his catastrophe." ( from Agatha, the Ginny-esque equivalent.)

It's a great testament to the writing that I can know this plot from the movie, and still find reading it incredibly suspenseful.

I'm rather confused so far, which isn't a great feeling to have about a fantasy book.

So far, this truly is a "this bitch be crazy" kind of book.

Pretty damn funny so far.

I get wanting to establish your characters but why is the action only starting now?

I still don't know what this is supposed to lead up to.

Not that far into it yet, but really enjoying it so far. Unusual style of storytelling, but I feel really attached to Sophie already.
