Over a quarter of the way through. Ugh it’s so good. Truth and courage!

Update: honestly I’ve been in a little bit of a reading slump. This book so far is a little different than the books I normally read (John Gwynne, pierce brown,etc..). It’s a little slower and little more political. For some reason it’s got me hooked. I want the characters to succeed or fail depending on who they are. Sir far very good and for me a slump buster!

Phew! A very dark book. I’m still shocked at the fact that this book isn’t popular. At the 3/4 mark and it’s very very good!

Robert Jones better write more books. That’s all. See you at the 3/4 mark!

Over the first quarter mark! I’m trying to not say the same thing for every book but can’t help it because they’re all so dang good! Will see if the book stays this good the whole time but so far it’s excellent! See you halfway!

Home stretch! Everything is coming together pretty well. The middle slowed a bit and it felt like it was just Oz making little progress but it truly feels like he has a plan that will work. I’m really enjoying Larry’s writing and will def try his other books. So you at the end of the

Halfway! Still pretty good! I do sometimes forget that it is a progression fantasy and that the main character is gonna get beat down a lot early on. Trax is amazing and by far the best character. So far pretty good, see you at three quarters!

So far very cool. I was surprised that it’s a D&D setting which I’m enjoying. Correia has done a really good job and setting the tone of the story without wasting time. I’m at the quarter mark now see you halfway!

Halfway through! The characters are just so good. Everyone’s journey so far is very interesting but the main group is by far the best. This truly feels epic and I can’t wait to continue on. Truth and courage!

A quarter of the way through and so far it’s very good. It’s more of the same thing from book one but the writing is much tighter. The introduction to the new pov characters are fantastic. Truth and courage!

Nearing 80% and it’s building into some really good and satisfying. I’ve taken my time due to that’s what it feels like it needs. See you at the end. Truth and Courage!

Halfway! Truth and courage!

At the %30 mark. So far still very good Epic fantasy. Again it’s pretty much everything that I wasn’t wanting and expecting in this story. I’m taking my time with it and it is definitely slow burn. I’m having the most fun when reading about Corban training. Truth and Courage!

About the %20 mark and it definitely feels like I’m entering the final stages of act 1. So far it is exactly what I wanted and expected. I feel like I’m relatively new to reading and haven’t read a lot of Epic “classic” fantasy. So this is definitely scratching an itch and plus it’s John Gwynne. So far very good, “Truth and courage!”

Last 100 pages. So far it’s as advertised. Definitely full SC-Fi with a lot of words that I don’t know but that’s the fun of it. Great so far!
