I'm liking the story so far but the formatting is rough. I'm not sure if it's because it's an ARC or what but every sentence being a new paragraph gets old quick.

I'm not sure how I feel about this book so far. The story is interesting but it feels poorly written. I'll have to see how I feel by the end.

I'm enjoying this story so far but there have been some editing issues that keep pulling me out of the immersion. I try not to get nit-picky about it but when it pulls me out of the story, I can't help it.

I'm not sure what my deal is with finishing this book. I've been in limbo with it forever. I love the story but I can't tell if I'm putting off finishing it because I don't want it to end or because I've heard so many times about the emotional damage that I'm not ready to handle it yet or something else.

I'm LOVING this book. I put it down a while ago and got distracted by other books but I need to go back and finish it because this book is amazing.

Oh boy, I think this is going to be a painful read. I'm curious about the story but the writing is atrocious. I'm not saying I could write better but I'm also not trying to sell a book. Fingers crossed the writing gets better throughout the book.

I'm not sure how I feel about this book at this point. I want to like it and I think I like the premise but, unless I misunderstood something, it felt like there were some continuity issues around her memory loss and the timing of it which are really bothering me. Plus the constant reminding of how weak Ary is gets kind of annoying. I understand there is probably an character arc for her but I haven't seen that yet.

I just finished The Poppy War section of this book and I'm not sure how I feel right now. Don't get me wrong, I think the book is great but I'm not sure how I feel about the main character and her choices.

I just finished Part I. I'm worried for Rin. She had tapped into this power and is going to try to tap into it further instead of quelling it like Liang wants her to.
