I love the "bite-sizedness" of this book. It gives me a nice glimpse into what life is like on Mango St.

the short stories I have read are just wow. VERY INTERESTING, I LOVE THE THEMES OF BROKEN TIES, LOST TIME, AL THAT IS JUST SUPER GOOD

the fact that society runs on strictly-established rules is wow. jonas is different, and he's a sort of "chosen one". i am getting cultish vibes from the community presented here soo anyways!! it's really weird and interesting

Shintaro, a shut-in, is forced to leave his house one day, due to his computer breaking! His little sister, Momo, realizes she doesn't want to be an idol any longer, and ends up stumbling to a peculiar group of teenagers, Mekakushi dan, who all have interesting powers. Fun premise and got into it bc of the vocaloid songs and Miku (@lili if yk who miku is then yeah)

Really interesting premise; where are the Hempstock women from?? They keep referring to the "old country" and this could mean old England or smth. And now, lots of stuff is happening to our main character, which he can't explain! He's beginning to remember...

2 clockwork creations: 1 is a knight, the other a boy who can operate like a real kid for 5 years before wearing down. The apprentice clockmaker plans to steal the kid creation and keep the knight creation for himself. And on top of that, this was all set into motion by a storyteller who can't finish the story. this is really interesting rn

found it sitting in my bookshelf and decided to give it a read; really interesting honestly

Arthur, Ford, Zaphod, and Trillian land in the legendary planet of Magrathea! They are almost hit by missiles and due to improbability, a bowl of petunias and a sperm whale spawn and die instead. I also loved the You'll Never Walk Alone part sung by Eddie

Still really entertaining and super fun to read

Arthur Dent's house gets demolished to make way for a bypass. Similarly, the Earth gets obliterated by the Vogon race to make way for an intergalactic expressway. Every person from earth is dead except for Arthur himself, due to his alien friend (who was stranded on earth for 15 years) being a galactic hitchhiker.

Loved the Arsenal slander and love the humor too

Because of dark matter, the team has fun powers now! And more lore about Billie's family and loved ones is revealed. Not that bad right now but I feel like the plot should pick up a little more now.

Charlie gets news that his superhuman intelligence may be temporary. Algernon, the smart mouse that could retain its intelligence, is beginning to show some signs of decline. So um! Charlie might undergo the same thing which is not great!

Super interesting story as always

Ok so by now, Charlie's intelligence has rapidly increased. However, he also becomes emotionally stunted and uncaring. He recalls and analyzes his past experiences, noting how he felt and what happened as a result.

He's a really complex character.

A rocket/spacecraft was meant to take off several years ago, but shit happens and is unable to, and its crew disappears without a trace. 20 years later, a group of friends enters the spaceship for shits and giggles and woops, the thing takes off! Luckily, a hologram of the ship's original captain helps the group :)

Fun concept, nice rep, it's a cool book

Charlie Gordon, a mentally disabled man, holds a constant drive to learn and know more. Due to this, he agrees to a surgery that might help him be smarter. He undergoes therapy, writes progress reports, and solves tests. One test involves solving mazes against Algernon, a mouse that underwent a similar surgery as Charlie.

If this ends with Algernon dying, I will die too.

The concept was interesting--space gays get lost in an abandoned rocketship and are now zooming off into a distant galaxy. At first, the language and introductions felt a little clunky but they were bearable. It started to grow on me and I now find it fun. I still have many pages to go, but it's pretty simple, lighthearted, and a tad bit mysterious, so it won't be that hard to finish.

Adrian Newey mainly drops some lore about himself, which explains the reasons for certain aspects about him. And there's some interesting physics info in it too, since he's a race engineer and allat

it takes a little longer to read though (lots of googling involved) but still good

Probs the most amount of pages I read in 1 go. Definitely nice right off the bat and I already love Patroclus and Achilles!!
